The PVG310 is a single chip modem that integrates
all the physical layer (PHY) basedband functionality for broadband
wireless transmission systems. This includes state-of-the-art
Modulator, Demodulator and Forward Error Correction (FEC). Advanced
features such as adaptive equalizer, concatenated coding, I/Q
imbalance correction and distortion compensation, provide improvement
in performance and overall system cost savings. All functions
are implemented digitally and eliminate the need for external
VCO’s and loop filters.
Modem parameters including data rates, modulation schemes and
bandwidth are all software programmable, making it the core
of broad variety of SDH, PDH and IP traffic for In-Door Unit
(IDU) or Outdoor Unit (ODU) systems.
The PVG310 is suitable for advanced wireless system platforms
as well as high capacity XPIC platforms.
