SANTA CLARA, Calif., February 14, 2008– Provigent, a leading provider of System-on-a-Chip (SoC) solutions for the Broadband Wireless Transmission market, announced today that Victor Koretsky has joined Provigent as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Business Development.
Prior to joining Provigent, Victor was Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing of the DSP Group (NASDAQ: DSPG). He was responsible for growing sales to more than 1M chips per day and over $200M. Victor joined DSP Group at its inception, and throughout his impressive career he served at various top level management positions of Sales, Marketing, Business Development and R&D.
Victor has 25 years of experience in the telecommunication and semiconductor industries and holds a M.Sc. in Electronics, from Moscow Technical University of Communication and Informatics and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Victor also holds numerous patents in the field.
